My name is Sally and I am a Diploma-qualified Early Childhood Educator based in Proserpine with a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development. I believe in respect, equality and inclusion for all children and provide a fun, engaging and enriching program tailored to each child’s individual needs, interests and developmental stage. My home features inviting indoor spaces and a large outdoor area where children can play, explore, learn and be active.

I began my career in the childcare industry fresh out of school in 2003 and have loved every minute of it. Over the years, I have worked in a variety of roles — from trainee to management positions — and obtained my Diploma in Children’s Services, gaining extensive experience in early childhood education.

Originally from Sydney, I moved to the beautiful Whitsundays in 2009, where I now share my life with my husband and two amazing children. After years of working in centre-based care, I made the decision in 2019 to operate my own Family Day Care — and it has been the best decision. Over this time, I have welcomed many families into my home, building strong, lasting relationships that often feel like an extension of my own family.

I love the flexibility that Family Day Care offers and the benefits of a small group setting, where children enjoy more one-on-one interactions and are less likely to get sick. My program also includes regular excursions, such as trips to the water park during warmer months or spontaneous visits to the local supermarket for cooking activities, providing children with opportunities to learn through real life experiences.
