I have been a diploma qualified early childhood educator for 10+ years, working in both UK and Australia.

I am originally from Yorkshire in the UK and came to Australia 9 years ago to be a Nanny. I fell in love with the beautiful Whitsundays and never left!

I am a mummy to three little boys, Beau, Oaklen and Buddi Buddi is technically a dog but he’s treated like a human and I swear he thinks he is one too.

I am a very creative minded person and encourage the children to embrace play-based learning to spark their curiosity and build their confidence, empowering them to see the world through a lens of endless possibilities.

I aim to create a positive indoor and outdoor environment that is natural and inviting, inclusive and rich in possibilities, one that reflects the local community, educators and families who use the service. I set up experiences using a variety of media to empower children to make choices, promote peer relationship and to provoke thoughts and imagination through play and innovative arts program.

This year I was nominated for Family Daycare Educator of the Year by my beautiful families.

Each child at Giggle N Grow FDC has a elderly pen pal in our community who lives alone, we write to them regularly and send paintings, photos and flowers.

Sustainability is a huge part of Giggle N Grow and I try to reuse anything we can and incorporate it into our play or create it into something new. We are also very nature orientated and will often be found in the garden taking care of our plants.
