My name is Michelle, and I began my career as a Family Day Care Educator in October 2003. My husband, Jaime and I have two wonderful grown children and our family home has been the heart of my work for over 20 years.

I provide a safe, loving and nurturing environment where children feel comfortable and truly at home. I support children to develop independence, confidence and competence as learners through meaningful play and everyday experiences. My program includes a dedicated day care space, along with a large outdoor area featuring gardens, an obstacle course and plenty of room for children to run, explore and learn through active play.

Throughout my career, I have obtained my Diploma of Children’s Services and continue to value ongoing learning in early childhood education. Family Day Care has been my chosen career for many reasons — it allowed me to be present for my own children while also opening our home to many other children and families who have become part of our extended family over the years.

I truly enjoy watching children grow, learn and progress on their individual journeys. It gives me a great sense of pride to know that I have played such a meaningful role in supporting children and families during these important early years.
