Hello, my name is Lisa and I have been a Family Day Care Educator for over 25 years. I feel incredibly fortunate to have spent my career supporting children in their early years and building strong, trusting relationships with families along the way.

I am passionate about creating a safe, nurturing and welcoming environment where children feel valued and supported. I believe children learn best through play, exploration and meaningful interactions and I take pride in providing experiences that support each child’s individual development and interests.

As a mum to two wonderful adult daughters, I understand firsthand how important it is to find care that feels like a home away from home. My eldest daughter, Breeanen, is a paediatric nurse and my youngest, Cayla, is an exercise physiologist on the Gold Coast. Caring for others is something that runs deeply in our family.

My partner Tim works with the Army as a welder and marine specialist at Ross Island and his daughter Mackenzie is also part of our family, spending time with us regularly. Family is at the heart of everything I do and this is reflected in the warm, inclusive environment I provide for the children in my care.
