Hi, I’m Jenny and my family day care is called Muddy Puddles Family Day Care, proudly based in Proserpine with Whitsunday Shire Family Day Care. I provide a welcoming, home-based learning environment where children feel secure, valued and encouraged to explore and grow at their own pace.

My program is designed with a strong indoor–outdoor flow, and my entire home is thoughtfully set up for children, allowing learning to happen naturally throughout the day. Children have the freedom to move between inviting indoor spaces and our outdoor environment, supporting independence, confidence and curiosity through play.

At Muddy Puddles, we love getting out and about in the community. I offer regular excursions to the local library, school playgroups and during the warmer months, the water park. These experiences help children build social skills, confidence in larger group settings and support school readiness in a fun and meaningful way.

Outdoors, children enjoy a large backyard with an ever-changing obstacle course that promotes physical development, balance and coordination, along with a well-loved mud kitchen that encourages creativity, sensory exploration and imaginative play.

I believe children learn best through hands-on experiences in a nurturing, flexible environment. My goal at Muddy Puddles Family Day Care is to support each child’s learning journey while fostering resilience, independence and a genuine love of learning.
