Educator Profile

Jaimee - Dingo Beach

B Gabby

Hi, I’m Jaimee Baker Finch, from Dingo Pups Family Day Care. I am a qualified early childhood educator based at beautiful Dingo Beach with Whitsunday Shire Family Day Care. I’m passionate about creating a warm, nurturing space where little learners feel safe, inspired and free to explore their world every day.

My program is strongly nature-based — we play, investigate and learn outdoors as much as possible. From exploring the patterns in seashells to watching bugs busily crawling through the garden, I help children develop curiosity and a love of science through real experiences in our natural environment. I also weave in creative arts, sensory projects and hands-on experiments that spark imagination and support children’s emerging skills in thinking, problem-solving and communication.

I believe that each child brings their own unique interests and strengths and I tailor experiences to celebrate their individuality. Whether we’re discovering how plants grow, painting with natural colours, building with recycled materials or simply listening to the ocean breeze, my goal is to foster confident, curious, resilient children who are excited to learn and explore.

I feel incredibly lucky to live and work in this special part of the Whitsundays — and would love to welcome your family to join our little learning community here at Dingo Beach.
